Last night in Des Moines, Iowa, I was honored by the United Bong County Association in the Americas with a Humanitarian Lifetime Achievement Award. The award reads In recognition of your lifelong dedication to leadership development, education & mentorship, and unwavering support to Bong County
The award coincided with a solemn induction ceremony, where I was conferred as an Honorary Citizen of Bong County, Liberia. As part of this honor, I received the new title of Chief Kerkulah. (A giant, tall warrior who delivers interns of a difficult situation.)
I am profoundly humbled and grateful for these recognitions. This award and honorary citizenship strengthen my commitment to serving and supporting the people of Bong County and Liberia. I look forward to continuing our work together and fostering stronger community ties.
Thanks
Dr Samuel N Jacobs-Abbey
Chief Kerkulah
