Ruth Dordoe is the principal attorney at Bethel immigration and Consultancy Services, LLC. Ruth received her Bachelor of Arts (Political Science) degree in 2006 from the University of Ghana and a Bachelor of Law degree from the University of Ghana School of Law in 2009. She received her J.D as well as a certificate in International Human Rights Law from the John Marshall Law School in Chicago, Illinois, in 2014. Ruth obtained her license to practice law in the same year and is a member of the Illinois Bar Association. 

Ruth has a passion for public interest law. As a law student, she volunteered with Illinois legal Aid Online and served as an intern for the John Marshall Fair Housing Legal Clinic and The John Marshall International Human Rights Clinic. She subsequently served as a Coles Fellow with the Illinois Human Rights Commission. She also worked as a judicial extern for Judge LaQuietta Hardy-Campbell (Ret’d) of the Cook County Circuit Court.

Thereafter, Ruth worked with the City of Chicago Department of Law Building and License Enforcement Division as an attorney-Law Clerk. She currently works as attorney in the District of Columbia.
