The Certificate in Security and Governance studies prepares students for the changing nature of post-conflict rehabilitation efforts through scholarship and research. The certificate program can be beneficial to those who have already received an undergraduate or graduate degree in their but would like to specialize in security and governance. The program recognizes students who focus their studies on international and national security affairs. Through the certificate, students develop an interdisciplinary expertise and professional experience in security studies, including diplomacy, defense, intelligence, foreign policy, homeland security, international affairs, international development, human rights, war, conflict, peace, and related fields.

Tuition for certificate programs is $560. Tuition for the Diploma programs is $900 and Tuition for Adv. Diploma programs is $1350. A one-time, non-refundable, application fee of $50 – and a Technology fee of $100 – are also required.​

After paying the application fee of $50, students pay a deposit half payment upon acceptance or conditional acceptance to the program. Students then make monthly equal payments of the balance, which includes the technology fee of $100
